Grawr

A bomb goes off in Karakura ... now of course, Merrow had nothing to do with the bomb, but seeing how it caused a chain reaction of exploding vehicles and there were many Pluses without bodies now was too much of a buffet line for him to NOT enjoy munching them to death.

And so he did, mercilessly chewing on them and devouring them with all haste and glee. Ah, how he did love his little random walks in the human world. Bliss, it was, to eat without care, though his senses were on alert for anyone trying to disturb his meal.

Appears munching on dead hollows and swinging his sword at live hollows devouring souls.

OOC: ... lol

IC: Without a moment's hesitation, Merrow swiveled his head in the direction of the shinigami and a snarl emerged from his through as he pointed the pinky of the hand that was gripping a shinigami corpse at the Captain. A bala emerged as creepy organ music played in the background from the nearby church, now setting the stage for an awesome battle.

If Merrow had brought his sword. ... ... Ah well, the energy projectile went a-flying at the Captain, but it was more of a reflex than an actual attack. Now the Arrancar was up on his feet, munching the remains of the shinigami skull in his hands.

Hunter disappeared in a blur dodging the Bala succesfully as he appeared somewhere around five or so feet to the right of the Arrancar. Burping a bit and a piece of a hollow mask came out, he spotted the hollow he was eating disappearing into a Garganta. Dammit, he lost it. Arrancars weren't his type, but he would gladly kill them. Sighing he yelled " OI! WHY'D YA ATTACK ME DURING LUNCH?!?!?!" hearing the creepy sound from a piano, he scratched the back of his head.

Relaxing a bit he said " Let's rumble, bitch." disappearing with a cool shing sound or something he appeared behind the arrancar with decent reiatsu, his blade which was raised and pointed which he maintained even though he was shunpoing towards him would mean that he would be cut across his back from the right to the left. Wow, that's just super. Moving on, Hunter farted and burped.

IC: The child said nothing, only a smile appeared on his face as he heard those antagonistic words. Oh joy, this was going to be a battle against a Captain, he could hardly wait. His body, set on full instinctual behavior given his natural enmity and tendency to go on wild rampages when he saw a common 'death god' wandering about, was all geared for movement, and his mind was slowly sealing all the unnecessary details of his surroundings out. For now, he was focusing on the Captain's presence and the collection of reishi particles in the air about him, mostly few in number since he was gather them at his feet to stay aloft.

The presence faded, or so his Pesquisa told him. Truth be told, it was a blur as the sonar-like detection nerves of his weren't well-developed to fully distinguish between each position that the Captain had for every split-moment he spent while moving insanely fast. But, he knew what the bloody hell was going on, and considering how the path of the Captain seemed to be trailing behind him ...

The Captain's blade would slash, but to all unwary eyes, it would appear as though he was just standing there, blade pointed outward(disregarding the fact that he went from Point A to Point B in something along the lines of .1 seconds). Luckily, as prior mentioned, Merrow knew what was going on ... or at least he was aware that his enemy was using a high-speed movement technique and god-forbid that the Captain wasn't going to attack him at the end of it all. So, what does a tiny arrancar have to do in response? Reply with his species' own variant of rapid movement.

The first 'shing' of the Shunpo rang bells in his mind, the second 'shing' had followed after what sounded like a miniature blasting noise as the Arrancar vanished, fatefully avoiding corporeal damage, though there may be some sort of nick in his clothing that he was unaware of(and would later go ballistic about). Though, that wasn't the end of things.

Merrow would appear a little bit above the Captain, from behind him, hands locked together and raised slightly ... and swing, batta-batta the sledgehammer would descend rapidly, blurring to common sight upon the Captain's back, and given how he had a brutal amount of physical strength despite his appearance as well his own reiatsu not the slightest bit insignificant in comparison to the Captain's, it was going to hurt if it connected. Though, the probability of the full brunt of the attack landing was unlikely since he knew virtually nothing about the Captain, his speed and reaction time, mastery of Shunpo or whatever the Shinigami use besides that, at the very least, there was a chance that his attack may come into partial physical contact, and even then that would prove to be a painful strike, but nowhere near as crippling as a direct blow.
