A Round of Sake......And Maybe a Few More!

Yuffie sighed as she strode through the pristine doors of her precious 2nd Division. She was the Commander of the Onmitsukido, and possibly the fastest captain in the Soul Society, seeing as she wouldn't be promoted to the stealth division for nothing. Yuffie scracthed the back of her head as she sat down in her office, feeling slightly chilly. It was unusually freezing day in Seireitai. She wrapped her arms around herself for a few minutes, attempting to warm herself. Yuffie huffed in annoyance as her small attempts at making herself warm again didn't do anything at all. She wondered if it was because of the plasmatic formula that had been running throuhg her veins for many years. She was absolutely sure that it wouldn't cause serious health problems, like a coma. The only true advantages it had was that Yuffie's age appearence would be slowed for quite a while. The other thing that she was pretty much invulnerable to diseases or viruses that passed through the blood cells, specifically because she didn't have things like white and red blood cells. It simply functioned as blood. She blinked and looked at her hands. The tips were as cold as ice, and a frosty white color. She removed a pen from her desk, and quickly pricked her finger. Yuffie winced slightly. Since it was a dull instrument, it didn't do the quickest job at cutting. She spun around in her chair and rose her hand over the wide windowsill. The window was shut tightly, but it didn't stop the cold. She frowned when she remembered the heating system breaking earlier in the day, making her division just like the others; cold and uncomfortable.

Due to past investments and renovations, her Division was the most lavish. With a deluxe heating system, automatic doors, and a hot spring, they were certainly well off. Yuffie gasped as the hot spring popped into her mind. Ahhh that it's! Hot spring equal warm water which equals comfy me. Yuffie thought. Her Noble emblem was embossed into where the former captains over the 2nd Division were. Yuffie smiled happily. She had idolized former captains from way back when. Yoruichi Shihoin.....Sui-Feng. They were legends. And more importantly, very powerful females. Yuffie yawned silently as she rushed outside. She shivered again, remembering it was colder out there. She didn't care, as long as she could get to that hot spring. She finally spotted the thick pile of steam floating lightly over the treetops, and shunpo'd to the edge of the spring. Yuffie bit her lip, wondering if she should really go in. She didn't even have her swimsuit with. She sighed and shunpo'd back to her office. She snatched her thick raggedy cloak from her desk cabinet and slipped it on, the hoodie covering her head perfectly. Yuffie shunpo'd out of the Division and into the Seireitai streets. She looked around and facepalmed. Not a soul in site. "They must all be inside.......dammit.....guess it's back to a sake bar for me.." Yuffie mumbled. She strode into a bar, as the customers gazed at her. Most where gruff and tall, unlike Yuffie, who was a bit short and lean. One man walked up to her and slapped her ass. Yuffie's eyebrow twitched for a breif second, before she turned around and smacked so hard it looked as if his face had been scorched by fire. She glared ferociously and roundhouse kicked the man out of the bar, where he went flying into a thick wall. Yuffie sat down on a chair and signaled the bartender for a few rounds of sake. She sighed and scraped the wooden table with her nail, bored out of her mind. It was slightly warmer in here.

Yokkyu had been resting in the 11th Squad's Barracks, taking a nice long rest in the vacant Vice-Captain's bed, which was strangely the most comfortable of all the beds in the Division. He laid his head back, both arms folded behind his head, staring up at the white ceiling. He had his left leg propped up, and had his right leg crossed over it as he laid down and was doing nothing more than thinking about everything as of right now. Before long, Kenpachi noticed how bitterly cold it was at this time in Seireitei, to which he reacted to by sitting up and laying his back against the wall and let out a sigh as he crossed his arms. His haori was about five feet away from him, and all he wore at the current time was his Shinigami Uniform - he did not even have his zanpakutou, as it was give feet away with his haori. Damn... why is it so cold? Kenpachi complained inside his head as he crossed his arms even tighter, curling up into a tiny little compact ball as he sat there, awaiting something interesting to happen. But alas, after being in nearly the exact same spot from dawn to twilight and nothing happening - Kenpachi could just discard those hopes and attempt to gain ones anew.

With a reluctant sigh, Kenpachi rose from the bed, scooting to the edge of it, which forced the bed a few creeks of agony. Kenpachi slowly turned his gaze down at the wood, and he rose from it, and it creaked once more. Kenpachi's blank face then turned into that of a deadpan as he turned away from the bed and took two steps away from it, with his back towards the wood. And in one swift movement, he moved his leg backwards quickly, kicking the bed with amazing force. Ya' damn bed... Kenpachi said, insulting the bed; knowing good and well the bed couldn't actually feel it, or even hear him insult it, it simply made Kenpachi feel slightly better. Yokkyu straightened out his leg, which caused his knee to crack as he straightened it out. He then took two small steps towards a coat rack and a zanpakutou stand, first grabbing his zanpakutou and tieing it to the sash on his waist, then grabbing his tattered Captain Hoair from the rack, sliding his left arm through the sleeve, then his right hand, ultimately pulling it across his back, allowing the torn ends of the haori to fall a centimeter away from the ground. He straightened his zanpakutou and walked out of the room, taking slow steps in doing so.

After exiting the room, Kenpachi then took an immediate left, and followed down a large wooden corridor, with five doors on either side, placed at different positions throughout the hallway. Each of those rooms signified the seated officers rooms, Seats 3-8, and after this hallway, to the right was 9-15, and after that 16-25, etc etc. No matter, Kenpachi wouldn't be taking any rights, he'd be taking the left, which led to another long, doorless corridor which would lead to the Grand Hall of Squad 11, which when he reached there, he'd follow the large blue and red carpet west-bound until he reached the giant double-wooden door which would bring him outside of his barracks, and thus allow him access to Seireitei. He followed those exact cooridinates, and reached the grand hall, only to be greeted by two low-level officers who saluted him and called out the name Kenpachi. He paid no mind and just burst through the doors and walked into the Seireitei as if he owned it. He was bored - and he wanted a drink. And he would find a drink - there was a local bar in the Seireitei, and it was rumored that Squad 2 Captain Yuffie Hataro visited there often, so Yokkyu decided to go there to speak with his old friend.

He strode for about half an hour, constantly complaining about the cold bitter weather, and using a few shunpos to get to the bar quicker. And within those 30 minutes, he made it to the bar and walked inside, to see none other than Yuffie Hataro. He slowly approached her and sat next to her, and picked up the bottle of sake on the table, and poured some in what looked like a tiny plate with a small round hole inside it, and then take a drink from that plate-like utensil. He did this about 12 times before he tapped Yuffie on the shoulder, saying, Fancy meeting you here, Squad 2 Captain Yuffie Hataro. he said, smiling, not the LEAST bit intixicated. What brings you to the bar? he asked in his usual deep manly voice.

Lucian was nervous. He had only been recently promoted to 3rd seat, and was still new around the Sereitei. In fact, he was still new at learning where everything was. He sighed sadly. He was lost, like he usually was. The cold air outside didn't really phase Lucian much; in fact, he enjoyed it very much, he didn't like really hot days. He hated sweating and walking at the same time, but still, he didn't like feeling lost, not in the least. He looked around, to see if there was anyone around, to ask for directions to the 7th Squad's barracks, and meet the captain, but, he got a little to anxious, that he forgot about the directions as to where the barracks was. At least he was smart enough, to wear the Shihakusho, that bared his Squad's number, but it didn't help if he had no clue as to where they were.

"Well, guess that's what happens when you try to rush things. Always so eager to prove yourself Lucian. Alright.... there should be someone around here, to help me find my way around here...."

He continued to walk around, his legs starting to feel a little numb from walking around here so many times. Sighing once more as he continued to move around. At least he didn't mind being alone. He was use to solitude. In fact, he didn't really have any friends at all. Being a loner most of his life, he had become very socially awkward. He let out a small yawn. The cold air was starting to make him sleepy, as well as tired, very fast. He looked around to see, if there was a place to take a rest, or at least relax. He gazed around a lot more this time, until he finally saw some commotion nearby. He could read some signs, and could see that it said "Shinigami Bar." Well, it wasn't his style to drink, but he quickly dash straight towards it, in hopes to relax his feet as well as find directions toward his Squad's barracks.
As soon as he entered, he became a little nervous, this was the first time he had ever seen this many people together at once. He quickly made his way to find a seat; though not sure of the characters he was sitting next to... Something about them, the hair on his back slowly stand up.

Yuffie sighed lazily as she set her 13th bottle of sake on the table. She had specifically ordered the stronger, more potent sake. It was quite a big bottle. Yuffie peered around the bar. Some of the men were casually talking and joking around with each other. But the other men were staring at her massive pile of giant sake bottles, switchign from the bottles to Yuffie's strongly sober look. Each time they looked between the two, Yuffie's angry glare would grow fierce and fiercer, until Yuffie looked like she was about to rip their faces off and declare them her trophies. They turned away just as Yuffie moved a foot, as if to Shunpo near them. Yuffie then waved her hand over her head, signaling the bartender. He quickly rushed over to Yuffies tabel and smiled. "Yes ma'am?" He asked her politely. Yuffie stared at him, slightly frowning. She pointed her finger over to the hap of glass bottles. "Is that really your strongest sake? Because i'm not even the slightest bit tipsy yet, and I drank thirteen big bottles of those. Please tell me you have a stronger sake." Yuffie asked, her voice growing slightly annoyed towards the end of her question.

"Sorry ma'am, we do have a premium, and incredibly stronger sake, but it's not available during this hour. Only during celabratory or special drinking hours is it available." The boy said, biting his lip. His sandy blonde hair hid his eyes, but Yuffie could see they were slightly blue. She sighed. "Just refill my bottles with that sake, and I won't tell your boss that your given it out, ok? Besides, i'm the best drinker of the Soul Society. It'll take me a while for the strongest sake to get me anywhere near tipsy, mmmk?" Yuffie said to him. The boy frowned slightly, but nodded to her. "I suppose I can do that....." The boy mumbled quietly. Yuffie nodded and grinned. "Thanks kid." She exclaimed as he lifted all of her thirteen bottles onto his metal tray. She watched, laughing lightly as he tried to walk at a rapid pace with that many bottle back to the bar. She rested her arms behind her head and kicked her feet up on the table, trying to get the most relaxation as possible out of this little bar trip. She closed her eyes, but suddenly felt a familiar pressure. a strong one. In fact, it was on her level. She raised an eyebrow, wondering why she had the luck of another captain managing to find her favorite bar. Her body tensed lightly as she heard the slight noise of someone sipping something, most likely sake. She opened one eye and peered to her left, first sensing a light tap on the shoulder.

"Fancing meeting you here, Captain Yuffie Hataro." She huffed as she spotted the sitting figure of Yokkyu Fuman, the current Kenpachi and Captain of the 11th Division. She typically viewed the 11th Division as a group of fight hungry battle shinigami. She viewed the 2nd Division as more of a .....elegant, division. Her division was quiet, stealthy, fast, calculating. They were the smart side of the battle. And her division having all those qualties, Yuffie was the master of all of them. She yawned and nodded to Yokkyu. "Yeah yeah, nice to see ya here Captain Fuman. What brings you out to these dark parts of the Seireitai?" Yuffie said to him with a light snicker. During her introduction to him, she spotted the man who she had slung into a wall walk back into the bar. She continued to smile during that sentance, not showing the slightest recognition at the man. Yuffie softly leaned next to Yokkyu and sighed. "Excuse me for a minute, mmk?" Yuffie said politely to him as she wrapped her nimble fingers around an empty, thick glass sake bottle rolling around on the floor. She sighed and she peered over her shoulder and looked at the man. His spirit pressure was low, displayin g that he wasn't even seated.

Yuffie shunpo'd over to him, smashed the bottle of his head, glass crackling, and shunpo'd back to her seat. Her appearence, her mannerisms, even her casual pose didn't hint she had moved at all. Her movements couldn't be traced, not when a distance was so short from hers. She was graceful and fluid, like she was performing a dance. She was fast, not as fats as a legend like Yoruichi, maybe on her level, but not as fast. She peered over to the left to see a man sit next to her and Yokkyu, and smiled at him, sensing his level of strength was around lieutenant level or so. She waved lightly to him. "Hello there. I'm Yuffie." She introduced herself kindly to him. She never was one to apply honorifics or such unless she was feeling down. She wondered if the man knew she was a captain, but it was unlikely. Her face, along with her haori, was hidden by the large hoodied cloak. She grinned as the boy returned to her table with all of her filled bottles. "Thanks kiddo." Yuffie said happily. He gently set the tray onto her table and nodded to Yuffie. "No problem miss." He replied. Yuffie nodded, and looked up at him before he could walk away. "You wouldn't happen to have maybe a menu or something? For like...food? And by the way, Captain Fuman, it's Yuffie Hotaru." Yuffie asked inquistively, ending with a light laugh. The boy nodded rapidly. "I'll be right back with that ma'am." He said, slighty timid.

Jor'lo sat in his barraks, meditating. Or so it seemed. Truthfully he was tired of the cold this day had brung, so he had retreated to his inner world. At the moment, he was standing over the volcano that made up most of his inner world, talking with Rosokaku. Ah, my old friend, your company certainly is better then a day in the cold of Seireitei. Jor'lo said, after chuckling for a moment. Rosokaku smiled. I knew it would be. Why do you think I requested your presence here? Rosokaku said. Jor'lo sighed. And i thank you for that, though there is one thing. Rosokaku looked confused for a moment. And what is that? He asked. Jor'lo looked off into the distance for a moment. Well, other then you, i have absolutely no friends. With our training, I have almost no time to meet any friends. Rosokaku laughed. That's all? Are you training NOW? Rosokaku said with a coy smile. Jor'lo smiled back. No, I suppose I am not. Thank you, rosokaku. I shall see you later. Jor'lo said, and then left. After he did, Rosokaku laughed to himself. Whatever friends that boy gets will kill him, I am sure of it. He said with a laugh.

Jor'lo opened his eyes and laughed. He jumped straight up from his crossed-legged position and looked around. It seemed like he had been in there for no more then an hour, but half the day had gone by. Jor'lo laughed at this, and then continued out the door of his barraks. He looked around, but no one was around, not a sound was to be heard. Jor'lo frowned at this, it looked like he would have to just hope he was lucky enough to find some people. He searched for an hour more, but could not find anyone around. Then he smacked his head and laughed. Of course! I will go to the bar, there are BOUND to be people there! Jor'lo laughed and set off for the bar. He soon heard the sound of laughter, and it was like music to his ears. Jor'lo started to run, finially coming to a stop before the doors of the bar. He slowly breathed in, then out. He composed himself, then opened the door. There was a rush of sound, and intake of air, and a blinding light....

Jor'lo could not believe his eyes. All the people! He had truthfully never been in a bar before, with all the training he never had the time. But he loved everything about it. The sights, the sounds, the comotion. He looked around, and finally his eyes came to rest on a peculier group. Two captains, and what looked like a third seat talking. Jor'lo started to walk there way. As he approached, he started to hear part of their conversation. ...And by the way, Captain Fuman, it's Yuffie Hotaru. He heard one of the Captains, and the only female, say. At this moment he was no more then ten feet away. Just a few more steps and he was apon them. Hello all. I am Jor'lo Dosene, Vice Captain of Squad six. He said with a smile. Then, turning to the female captain, You said your name was Yuffie Hotaru? Then greetings, Captain Hotaru. Jor'lo said with a bow. He then turned to the two males. Now, she said your name is Captain Fuman? Then that would make you the current Kenpachi. It is an honor sir. Then he turned to the seated officer. And you would be? I believe you are a third seat, but I am uncertain. Am I correct? Jor'lo said. The whole time he was smiling. This is the first non-formal conversation he had outside his inner world in a long while.

Yokkyu sat next to the Captain, listening to her conversation with the bartender, to which he paid little mind to. He noticed a seated shinigami walk into the bar, but paid him little attention. After all, he was a Captain; a shinigami meant nothing to him, unless it was a Vice Captain or a Captain. Yokkyu rolled his eyes as Yuffie went on and on speaking, stating she was the best drinker of Soul Society. Jeez, girl. Drinking is drinking. What does it matter? It tastes all the same... Yokkyu thought to himself rolling his eyes as she went on and on to the bartender, who reluctantly disappeared and brought back their strongest drink at the time. Yokkyu looked at the bartender and gave a slight glare, You have rules to follow, you know. I just to happen to be a more... proper Kenpachi. Follow your rules next time, child. Yokkyu said to the bartender as she walked off, turning his gaze back to Yuffie.

She sat there, taking a few sips of her newly obtained sake, and after a few sentences, she looked at Yokkyu and spoke, ...And by the way, Captain Fuman, it's Yuffie Hotaru., she said, correcting him. And with a sigh, he rolled his eyes, moving his head along with the flow and looking back at the Captain, I don't care if it were Captain Hamtaro. We all make mistakes. And 'By the way', it's KENPACHI, not Captain Fuman. I have a title, use it properly. Yokkyu said, a little irritated that having a title such as Kenpachi in Seireitei would be so easily bypassed due to his last name. And curse you, Captain HOTARU, for working this bartender or waitress or whatever she is... Yokkyu said, slowing down at the end and began to mumble... Curse you for working her so hard and making her feel so damned awkward. Truthfully, it amuses me, but nonetheless, go easy on the poor fello'. Yokkyu said, relaxing in his chair.

There were many people in this area, and due to there being so many people, there was much reiatsu. Even if their reiatsu wasn't high, it was all very jumbled, making it hard to sense if somebody is coming or going, or even moving at all. But Yokkyu noticed the reiatsu of what felt like between a Captain and Vice Captain... but didn't know who it was. The man entered the room, wearing the usual black shinigami robes with a ViceCaptain Patch sewn on the left arm. He introduced himself as Jor'lo Dosene, Vice Captain of Squad 6, and then acknowledged Yokkyu as the Kenpachi, but calling him Captain Fuman instead. Kenpachi simply sat there, ignoring his introduction for a few seconds, and reluctantly sighed and looked at him, As I told Captain Hotaru, It's KENPACHI... Not Captain Fuman. Got it? he said, looking back at the table, resting his arms on it.

Using his feet, he pulled out a chair and looked at Jor'lo, as if asking him to sit. As Jor'lo sat down, Yokkyu grabbed a bottle of Red Sake, and a small bowl-cup, and poured Jor'lo a drink and placed it in front of the Vice Captain. Welcome to the table, Fukitaicho Dosene. he said, sighing as he took a drink from the bottle itself, and didn't stop until it was all consumed by him. After he chugged it down, he slowly removed it from his lips and placed it on the table, which left an inevitble clunk as he did so. With a sigh, he looked over at the two of them, So... Whatcha think about this cold Seireitei is facing? Unusual, right?

Yuffie yawned and stretched her arms. She was getting a bit bored again. She suddenly smiled as the boy returned with drinks. ”Thanks kid. I suppose that'll be all. You look a bit....anxious.” Yuffie murmured, narrowing her eyes slightly. She wondered if it was because of the arrival of Captain Fuman. Her ears pricked up as Fuman started speaking. She rolled her eyes and a intensely annoyed frown appeared where her entertained smile had been. ”It's sake, Nothing special. Damn, just because your a captain doesn't mean you have to put a damper on a good time.” Yuffie hissed at him, slightly pissed off. It was just special sake. She brushed it off anyways, not ready to let her time get spoiled. She instead attempted to direct her attention to the third seat, who seemed a bit shy. But instead, she began to hear the captain speak again. She laughed slightly at the word Hamtaro and then gave him a serious look when he practically commanded her to call him Kenpachi. If she would've removed her thick hooded cloak, he would've spotted glare from Yuffie.

”No. I don't got it. Captain Fuman.” She said in a increasingly annoyed tone. Yuffie wasn't the type of captain to fuck around, nor was she a very respectful one. She had respect for captains who treated others equally. She disliked the ones who didn't show respect to lower ranked shinigami, because they were fucking lower ranked. She hated that with a thick passion of anger. Mainly because her captain hadn't treated her so back when she was in the 12th Division. She wasn't even treated disrespectfully when she was an unseated officer in the 9th Division. But she saw other captains who treated their subordinates like they were nothing more then a unimportant servant. Yuffie was different. She treated all of her division kindly and respectfully, insisting on going by first names instead of honorifics and titles. She wanted to change things. She knew her division was more of a family then a cold blooded and distant organization. She of course, had to rule the Onmitsukido a different way then her division. She didn't have much of a choice in the matter. Yuffie was aware it was a matter of time before her and Fuman's ideals would clash. She was brought back to reality again when she heard Fuman insisting on the third seat calling him Kenpachi. She rolled her eyes once more, but didn't say anything.

Yuffie felt another spirit pressure approaching the table and turned around. She waved hello once the man, Jor'lo Dosene, introduced himself. ”Pleasure to meet, Jor'lo. And I prefer to go by Yuffie. I really don't care for titles.” Yuffie said with a smile and a shrug, pointing a seat opposite from her. ”Take a seat, Jor'lo.” Yuffie said, to him, her voice sweet and welcoming. Yuffie grinned quickly as the third seat stood up, introducing himself quite timidly. She laughed as he bumped his head, ending with a tiny hiccup from drinking. She wasn't laughing to be mean, but she just found the incident a bit adorable. She stood up quickly and ruffled his hair. ”You ok, shy boy?” She said with a slightly teasing tone. She sat back down and pointed to the chair next to her. ”Why don't you sit down also, Lucian? And don't be so shy. I'm not mean or anything.” She said to him politely. She didn't think he was an idiot at all, simply shy and timid. She kicked her feet atop the table, revealing her blue strapped boots. This displayed that Yuffie wore custom clothes under her shihakusho.

Mainly because she hated the shinigami. It was unbearably boring and plain. Yuffie was spontaneous, weird, unique. She needed a thriving life to survive. She then rested her head behind folded arms, nodding slightly at Fuman's question. ”Yes it's quite weird but absolutely pleasant. The only thing bad about it is that my blood gets more easily chilled then any others of Seireitai.....though it's not really blood.....” Yuffie mumbled. She rubbed her index finger and her thumb together with pressure. The slight pressure displayed the vein on her palm. The liquid within her vein was a very very bright blue, neon. It reminded Yuffie of electricity and hyperactivity with the vibrant color of it. She used to have normal blood, a deep red crimson like everyone else. It got replaced during her “naptime” as she nicknamed it, or her comatose state. She didn't care anymore though. She had gotten past that part of her life.

Jor'lo bowed to the Kenpachi. Of course sir, Kenpachi. Whatever you wish me to call you. I am not an imbecile, I know that you could destroy me if you wished it. Jor'lo said, then sat down. He looked at Captain Hotaru. Alright, do you mind me calling you Captain Yuffie? I believe that titals are very important for those over you. It is a sign of respect. Jor'lo said with a smile. Then, finally, he addressed Lucian again. Seeing as I am only a Lt, you may call me Jor'lo, or Jor. That goes for you as well, Kenpachi and Captain Yuffie. Jor'lo said with a smile.

Taking up his bowl of sake he tasted it, and automatticaly wanted to spit it out. He hated it, he had truthfully never had it before, but he did not want to be rude. Begrudgingly, he drank the last of the sake in his bowl, then sat back. He heard the conversation switch to the cold. Yes, it is unnaturally cold, is it not? For the last few ours I have been in my innar world trying to warm up. See, Rosokaku's world is a volcano. So, as you can most likely tell, it is very warm there. Jor'lo said, then laughed. In fact, if I had not been in my Innar world, I would not be here now.... Jor'lo said, then suddenly cut himself off. He did not want his friendless life to be known, at least not at the moment.

Yokkyu slowly rose from his seat, keeping both of his arms limp and keeping his head down. Who does this lady think she is?! Yokkyu thought as he slowly rose his head up, tightening his fists, though they were hidden by the sleeves of his haori. Rules are rules, you fool! Yokkyu shouted, not allowing his anger to rise, however showing the authority in his voice, as well as the lawful just side of himself. You, Miss Hotaro, are a Captain, act like one you imbicile. Yokkyu said, not allowing any expression on his face to change; the expression was none other than the typical glare. He was paying no mind to either the Vice Captain or the Third Seat. He still had to retaliate to her disobediance to his request at his name. Something as immature as that would not be accepted by him. He slowly reared his head at the woman, and with slim eyes he spoke...

I am the Kenpachi. I have absolutely no need for a title such as my last name. I am Kenpachi, NOT Captain Fuman, Not Captain Yokkyu, Nor Yokkyu, Not Fuman, and not Yokkyu Fuman! he shouted, though using his inside voice, not attempting to be loud. Despite his efforts, he managed to bring silence throughout the bar, but he didn't care, he would continue. You have told me to call you something of your desire. I am the Kenpachi! I will NOT ask! You will listen to me! Kenpachi shouted, glaring at the Captain. His words had attracted attention throughout the bar, and there were a few chants calling out words such as "Bankaiiiiii!" or "Slap her!" or simple a "Shut up, Jeez!". None to which Kenpachi paid any mind to. I care not for who you are, but you will listen to my former request, present-demand. Kenpachi said, lowering his gaze and sitting back in his seat.

What is this? You've got to be kidding me Yokkyu! Giving up so easily?! his zanpakutou shouted at him mentally. Yokkyu didn't pay it any attention, knowing that this conversation was mental, and what may seem to be an hour conversation, in reality was only a mere second. Oh hush Rai'. Yokkyu said through his mind, giving no expression behind his words. This is not you, you've gotta be kidding me! Show her you mean business! Don't allow her to treat you like that!! Rai' demanded, which sparked Kenpachi's muse, to which he replied with by once more raising from his seat, taking a hold back on reality. He gave a short grin, gripping his zanpakutou gracefully, not drawing it, but simply keeping a light, yet firm grip on it with his four fingers.

Better yet... Kenpachi said, looking around the bar of people, who once more became quiet. How about I show each and every one of you fine people, exactly WHY I am the Kenpachi! he asked in a loud voice, to which he got replies of chants, cheers, and this time, no jeers or dirty or nasty comments. He rose his zanpakutou with deadly quickness, like a snake striking. He held it with one hand and pointed it at Yuffie Hotaro, who was still seated. I ask you one last time - no - I tell you for the last time: You will call me Kenpachi. Not CAPTAIN anything. If you do not wish to, then you will prove to me I should allow you. There are two roads you can go on from here: Shut up and listen, or screw up and run your mouth, dear friend Yuffie. You know how very much I despise disrespectful twits, and you know it gets on my very very very last nerve. Fight me now for the right to call me as you wish, old friend, or stay quiet and drink your sake. Kenpachi said, glaring at his friend. It was official, the sake had taken its first step into his body.


But I am not the Kenpachi as well as the Taicho of Squad 11 for no reason!! Yokkyu said as he lifted up his left leg and used his foot to fling Yuffie's precious sake halfway across the bar, allowing it to smash into a chair and seep into the floor. I am Kenpachi Fuman - You will respect me properly! he shouted, gaining him very very many cheers.

Yuffie nodded lazily to Jor. "Sure, I suppose you can use the captain title...." Yuffie said to him, frowning lightly. She grinned as Jor took a drink of sake, only to see a look of bitterness on his face.

"What? Ya never had sake before? Wow....and i'm guessing from that look on yer face, ya don't like it very much either." she said with a little laugh. There were always the people who disliked the taste of sake. In all honesty, Yuffie preferred the taste of wine. But she knew this particular bar didn't carry the type she liked, so she just ordered the sake. She tipped her head back, her arms still cushioning the back of her head. Unlike alcohol such as wine or beer, sake, especially sake that strong, had taken another effect on her, causing Yuffie an immense headache and massive desire for sleep.

Of course, with the loud roaring of a bar in her ears, she couldn't exactly comply with that desire. Yuffie could only close her eyes and attempt to get rid of her headache. Even though she was more focused on her headache, she could hear the loud voice of Fuman yelling in the background. She placed one hand on the table and one still behind her head. The fingernail of the one on the table grinded into the wooden table in a counter clockwise motion. She opened one eye to look at him as the jeers and taunts sounded around her. It was strange. Yuffie hadn't had this much of a annoying time at a bar in her whole entire life.

Not once had this occured. But what she hated most, was someone who was overly cocky. Sure, Yuffie was a bit cocky about her rank as a captain, but she also had a modest side that wasn't possessed by no other captain. After Fuman had finished talking, she witnessed him raise his zanpaktou at her, while she was still seated. She shunpo'd behind her her chair, which she had been previously sitting in, and glared at him. Her hood was still sitting lazily on her head, with her eyes covered. She placed her hand on her zanpaktou, but dropped it quickly, quickly remembering her skill in the art of Hakuda. She simply leaned on the chair and scoffed.

"You, are annoying me. You've commanded me four times to call you Kenpachi. And ya, I corrected you because it's my actual name, Hotaru. You weren't born with the name Kenpachi. And I was never ordering you to call me Hotaru. Nor have I ever ordered anyone to call me anything. Now then, I won't listen to a single thing you say from this point on if you don't attempt to refine your hostile behavior, mmk?" Yuffie said to him, her tone very calm and still slightly pissed off. The bar didn't make a single sound. Yuffie looked around to see slight looks of shock on their faces. After all, it wasn't everyday you saw a girl who only looked around 16 stand up to the likes of the Kenpachi.

She shook her head and turned to a worried Lucian, and smiled slightly. She patted him on the head, hearing his request. "Sure, i'll show you around. But I tend to get lost from time to time, but I know my way around here." Yuffie replied to him. She snickered. "I probably know my way around the underground sewers better because of the time I spent in the 4th Division." She said in a amused murmur. She turned to Jor'lo. "I can see you don't like the sake, so you can come along if ya want to. There's always a good chance of me losing it around here, seeing as I haven't been anywhere near the 7th Division barracks in quite a while." Yuffie said casually to him.

She didn't care to invite Fuman on this little introductory trip. The whole purpose of her accepting the boy's request was to get away from him. He had ruined her fun night. The bartender suddenly walked up to her, still a bit timid. "Umm....your gonna pay, right?" He asked her. She nodded and grinned. "Of course kid.....but i'll only pay for the sake I and Lieutenant Jor drank." Yuffie said, flashing a glare to Fuman. She layed the money down on the table. covering the sake drunk by her and Jor, seeing as Lucian hadn't touched any. It also covered the special sake she drank. Yuffie then pointed to the smashed bottles of sake and glass on the ground.

"Listen, i'm not paying for that, because my lips didn't even touch it. Nor was I the one who kicked it. And don't tell me you didn't see who kicked it, because you did." Yuffie said, her tone a bti aggravated. The bartender nodded and picked up the money, counting it. He frowned as he saw more extra then what Yuffie said she would cover. She grinned as she took notice. "It's your tip, silly. You've been a good bartender....soooo I decided to reward ya." Yuffie said casually to him. The boy blushed slightly and nodded, smiling at her. Yuffie sighed as he walked off and looked at Lucian and Jor. "Shall we continue with this litte trip, neh?" Yuffie asked them. Yuffie flinched suddenly as a large group of spiritual pressures appraoched the bar. She blinked as they revealed themselves. It turned out to be a large cluster of her Onmitusikido subordinates. "Commander in Cheif Hotaru, there has been a small issue that requires your assistance." They explained briefly before disappearing. The bar was silent as Yuffie turned to the rest of the group. "Sorry, but I must take my leave." Yuffie murmured, leaving with a quick chunpo.

Jor'lo nodded at Yuffie. I appreciate both your understanding my wishes, and you offering me to go with you and Lucian, but I believe that I shall stay here, Captain Yuffie. He said with a smile. Truthfully he had a request for the Kenpachi, one that was very important and private. He wanted to ask the Kenpachi to train him in the art of the sword. Jor'lo......This is supposed to be a night of fun, not a training session! Rosokaku mentally said to Jor'lo. I may never get this chance again! I have to try. Jor'lo countered right back at him. At this Rosokaku quieted, though not happily.

Jor'lo Sighed to himself. Now, I have stopped one arguement, I now must stop another one. Jor'lo looked at the Kenpachi. I understand your concern in wanting to be known by your rank, you have rightly earned it, but it is no reason to start a fight. If it is that important to you, then bring it up with our esteamed Captain Commander, he shall pass judgement on the matter. Untill then, can we not all just get along, if not as friends, as colleages? I do not, can not, count myself as either one of your colleages, but you two are. You have to work together, or you will have to some day, so why not at least TRY and get along? Jor'lo said, then breathed in and out, slowly. He had said what he wished, now he just needed to wait to see what either one of them said.

Lucian sighed sadly. He wasn't in the mood for any pointless fights, and with Yuffie's sudden call to leave... He really had no other business here. He asked the bartender here, if he had any clue as to where the barracks for Squad 7 was, so he could easily report as quickly as possible to his captain.

"The barracks for Squad 7? You're a little fars off, but I reckon if you keep heading straight for 10 minutes, and then turn right, and walk for 20 minutes, you should start seeing some of the Squad's barracks. Squad 7's should be right after you walk for 5 minutes and then turn left."

"Thank you very much. At least now, I can finally report to my captain and introduce myself to him. It was nice meeting you Captain Kenpachi and Lieutenant Jor'lo. If you excuse, I must be on my way now.

With that, Lucian quickly exited the bar and dashed as quickly as he could, following the directions of the bartender to quickly get to his Squad's barracks. The cold didn't really effect him in the least, in fact, it made him actually slow down, so he could enjoy a brisk walk in this cool day. He just wish it could be like this all the time.

Kenpachi sat there, starring at them all as they spoke and made their exits. He didn't yet realize it, however, he was completely drunk. He thought he could understand them, and he thought they could understand him, however, most of his speech was just a few slurs here and there, and a few laughs and some deception in his drunken mind. He slowly rose his arm in the air and gave a great smile to everyone, CHEERS, MATES! WHAT A LOVELY THIMGSGEEEEE he said, falling to the floor, unconscience due to his drunken state.
