| Due to a few incidents I've witnessed, I feel I need to remind everyone of a little rule, and explain just what it means. - Quote :
- 4. Deaths/Call-a-Hits: If you wish to call a hit and kill someone, the situation will have to be looked over. If the requirements in doing so are approved of, the person killed will die. Obviously.
As you can see here, "If you wish to call a hit and kill someone, the situation will HAVE to be looked over." It is not an option, it is not a choice. Unless you know for a fact that the person you are fighting will instantly accept death and offer no sorts of protests, someone, most likely more than one staff member, will be looking at the thread, reading EVERY post, and making a judgement. If the judgement says that the person did not die, and you exited in your kill post, then your exit can of course be interrupted by them, since they're not dead and such. This means that if you go and post somewhere else, and then the death is voided, all those posts are voided unless the person is nice enough to just let you stroll out of the topic. People you've just tried to kill are generally not that nice. Another thing is that I realize hidden attacks are popular. Everyone's trying to find the new way to hide an attack so that their opponent won't even see it, and I understand. There is no rule against that. However, it gets extreme when multiple members of staff are having trouble seeing or justifying an attack, or due to it's grammar have trouble understanding the way it happened. Make sure your attack is clearly justified, and make sure you explain it clearly. This will make our jobs as staff a whole lot easier, and allow us to either declare you hit legit or void MUCH quicker, which means you can get back to killing and fighting all the quicker. | |
