Zan spirit suggestion

Yes. This suggestion concerns Zanpakuto Spirits. I read from the rules, that they have to train for their shikai. I see no point in this, as they should already know their shikai form. Bankai is the one they won't know.

Maybe you misinterpreted the rules a little? The rules you read are in fact for Techniques. And not the ability to use Shikai/Bankai. Although the mods should edit that topic.

This is a quote from the training rules. That tells me, that the training rules topic, is actually referring to techniques. Hope this helps.

Actually, a zanpakutou would have auto bankai, if you think about it. They are theirselves - all zanpakutou have bankai, it's just a matter of communication with Spirit <--> Shinigami that determines Bankai. A Spirit itself would certainly master the power that is literally itself ._.

Then surely you can say the same about Shinigami and their powers? Since the Zanpakuto is themselves so surely they would not need to train for it... no.

Power has to be worked for whether you have the potential for it or not, some can skip the working for it to help progress the story

Alright to clear this up once and for all. Shinigami, Vizards and Zanapakuto Spirits get auto Shikai. This means they don't have to train for it. Savvy? The only way they'd end up training for it. Is if they chose to start off without it. And instead decided to go down the road of character development.

What you guys read, is nothing more than the techniques training rules. What does this mean? If you want to have extra techniques, apart from the default set that you start off with. Then you will have to train in order to gain those techniques.

As for theZanapakuto spirit Bankai concerns, thats something the Mods will have to decide on. This should clear everything up now.
