Zerro had this idea in the top of his head. It started with him being able to fire ceros from his finger tips, but when he realized he could manipulate it slightly, he decided that it would be best if he could use that to his advantage. So, while he stood in the middle of the training grounds in the basement of his Tower he aimed his finger at one of his Fraccion. They were easily replacable since of course they were only modded to act as his tools or even to serve as a small meal whenever he was in the mood for eating, since of course he had a tendency to obtain hunger from the blue even as he seemed as calm as the sky on a summer day. He charged a cero in his hand and then shot it trying to focus on making it a beam. It didn't work at first, when it fired, after growing a length of 3 centimeters it expanded into a regular cero turning to ash 3 Fraccion. Zerro sighed at his failure but never felt that he should at any time he should give up merely because he killed more fraccion then he intended. Zerro held out his index finger a second time, aiming at another one of his fraccion, who stood before him freightened and shaking but stood tall and remained in the ordered position, ready to give his life for someone above/superior to him. Zerro charged the cero which still looked blue but this time it started turning yellow, and finally he fired it and had the same results as the last time he tested it except this time one his intended target was killed; the rest jumped out of the way before Zerro fired it. After another failed attempt Zerro lifted his lifted his right hand and behind him appeared a rock from beneath the sand. The rock was a third of his height and big enough to sit on with a smooth flat surface. Zerro sat on the rock and sighed again thinking of what he could do differently to see better results. Finally after thinking about nothing but various shapes and sizes of Konpaku Zerro lifted himself up and aimed his index finger, once again, at another one of his fraccion. This time though he was sure that the control of his Cero (more like lack there of) came from his speed to discharge it. The longe rhe held it the more pwoer he applied to his average cero so wouldn't it be smart to fire it just before it reached its peak allowing it to shoot forward in a beam like arc? Zerro contimplated this idea before nodding to himself and looking at his fraccion charging another Cero. It was blue at first, after less than a second it became yellow and then instantly it became orange and Zerro felt that firing it now would be the best time to do so before it became Cyan. He fired it at his Fraccion who stood 32 feet away from Zerro and finally he was pleased to see the results but not as enthusiastic about figuring out its range. After firing it it did shoot out as a beam with the width he had anticipated and it did expand into a regular cero but unfortunately his Fraccion remained unharmed though she was sweating heavily after avoiding certain death. Zerro's face remaiend expressionless, he was glad t ohave at least made progress. All that remained was to figure out how far his cero stretched.
