Izanagi's Lair (The Captain's Office)

The Juunibantai Taicho returned from his little outing. Fox grin still plastered on his face as he walked through the 12th Division grounds. His legs leading him in the direction of his office. The hi-tech office of the Captain was put on lock down. This way no eyes could see what he was doing. Not only that, but the doors were sealed off. Privacy is the key to what Izanagi has planned. Musing over what the best course of action would be. Izanagi began thinking of the consequences and what not. If the Captain set out to do what he had planned. Then that means no one should be aware of his absence. His men were ordered not to disturb him. There was also the fact that, they weren't meant let anyone onto the Division grounds.

Izanagi made a decision, mission take a peek or a gander commenced. His left index finger rose and was dragged horizontally across the air. After which time a spiritual throat was cut opened. Amazingly no blood flowed from this wound. The gaping hole was instead made of dark torrential energy. The Shinigami cocked his head to the left. His crimson eyes stared into the darkness. Stepping forward the Captain tapped his Zanapakuto. Spiritual energy formed a flawless platform for the fox. Inside he went, the slit throat was sown back together. The stitchings of a spiritual nature closing the wound completely. The Captain was off on another adventure. Others were more than likely a oblivious to these acts.

A Garagunta opened leading into the lair of the Captain. The man made sure to note down the coordinates. This way he could resume where he left off, in Hueco Mundo that is. Didn't the Sotaicho know he was out gathering useful information? The Garagunta closed behind the man. His mind musing over the reason for this meeting. Its been a while since the Sotaicho called for him. So why now of all times? Couldn't he have called for another Captain? Dusting himself off, the man moved towards his office door. His exit from the building was a rather swift one. It was off to find the Sotaicho, on the hill or the town as he said.

The man that is known for the fox grin that he wears as a mask appeared at the 12th Division headquarters. He could sense the spiritual pressure of Syuoura and Shinichi not to far away. The Captain was hoping his subordinates would hold off on their report. They S.R.D.I sustained some damage, but nothing major seem to be missing at all. The Captain sighed as he made his way through the halls. Izanagi was greeted by the usual bow of the head from his subordinates. The Captain simply acknowledged these things and kept on moving. And upon reaching his office, the door opened automatically in response to his Reiatsu. As the Captain moved inside, the door closed behind him, and as a result preventing others from walking in. The Captain glanced around the room, noticing that it was meal time. "So its that time already? I could do with a decent meal and some time to recuperate. First thing first, the food". With a little tap on a number of keys on his highly advanced keyboard. Izanagi had placed an order for food and beverages. His beverage will come int the form of some of the most delicious sake. It has been sometime since the Captain indulged himself in a drink.

Sitting down at his desk, another couple of taps and the Captain brought to life the mishaps of the S.R.D.I. It was now movie time and the Captain was most interested in this new blockbuster. Moments before the movie began, an alert was sent to the Captain. It seems his sake and food had arrived. The contents of this meal wasn't important, yet it would most likely be tasty. However, the Captain was most interested in the sake. Izanagi poured himself a cup and sat back into his special chair. His hand stretched forward, and the movie was found and select. "Play" the Shinigami whispered to and on command the surveillance tape began playing. Now this is what you call movie in high definition. A devilish grin appeared on the Captain's face as the main star of the show appeared on screen. The left index finger of the Captain tapping away at the cup of sake that he held in his hands.

A slow and pleasureful sip of the beverage set the mood for the Captain. His eyes were glued to the screen, the details were taken and registered by the Captain. This motion picture was now added to the encyclopedia of information. That so happen to be the Captain's mind. A beautiful mind was at worked, thoughts being reserved for future moments. The Captain let loose a chuckle after seeing what happened to Tetsuya. The young Captain made a little mistake it seems. Based on what Izanagi was seeing, the substance left behind by the intruder must have caused the explosion. Luckily it was a controlled one. There was also the question that Izanagi would like answered. Just who was this intruder? The Captain had now seen enough, the details were now etched into the back of his mind. Tapping away at his keyboard, a message was sent to gather samples, if none weren't already taken. A task was given to his many subordinates. The Captain on the other hand consumed the meal prepared for him.

It was now time for the man to take a rest, and that required him to sleep a little. Picking himself up from his seat, with the tap of a button, something rose from the ground as it opened up. It was in the shape of a coffin, a white one with bedding inside. The Captain soon laid down inside and little mechanical arms appeared and placed a number of patches on him. Izanagi would undergo a short resting period to once again be at maximum strength. The Captain was a little exhausted, but still strong enough for battle. "I hope no one disturbs me". The white coffin sunk into the floor from whence it came. The Captain's Reiatsu had vanished somehow, as he laid in a secure chamber of sorts. After resting a little, Izanagi will no doubt go on another expedition.

The Captain awoke from his rest rejuvenated and ready to visit the S.R.DI. Shinichi and Syuora should be prepping the test subject by now. Nevada was a delicate specimen, one that could become troublesome if one is not careful. The coffin or the white bed that the Captain slept in rose from the floor as it opened up. The coffin came to a stop and stood vertical and as it began to open. Mist escaped the small openings, blocking the Captain from view. The man then opened his eyes and from beyond the cloudy interiors. The crimson eyes of the Shinigami glowed, Izanagi moved forward and out of the coffin, yawning. The fox grin formed on his face once more. The Captain dressed himself, the necessary garments covering his body along with his Zanapakuto in the correct place. The isolated room lit up once more, Izanagi drifted towards the door via a couple of casual steps. Izanagi made his way out of his office, it was placed on lock down. This meant that getting inside would be rather difficult, not to mention it would send an alert to him. The man made his exit and was now moving towards another location. One that was still unspecified in his mind.
